GLOBAL BROADBAND SOLUTIONS RECEIVES HUBZONE CERTIFICATION
LEESBURG, VIRGINIA, USA (June 9, 2020) -- Global Broadband Solutions, LLC, (GBS), a Loudoun County, Virginia-based advanced telecommunications services small business, announced that it has been qualified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as a Certified Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Company. The SBA program encourages economic development by helping small businesses in urban and rural communities gain preferential access to Federal procurement opportunities.
Located in the heart of the Leesburg, Virginia’s HUBZone, GBS may now more effectively help U.S. Federal Agencies meet their statuary HUBZone contracting goals by providing a wide range of Information Technology solutions, Cybersecurity offerings, and complex project management services.

In December 2019, GBS was awarded a patent for its Submarine Cable Document Management System, “SCDMS.” After years of research and development, GBS remains one of the very few small businesses serving the Federal market that stores and administers its clients’ sensitive, unclassified information in a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-171 compliant system.
