Kathryn is the Director of Human Resources and Corporate Communications. In addition to managing HR and benefits delivery, she enjoys research for special projects and brainstorming creative solutions. Kathryn is responsible for the development and delivery of internal and external communications, creating print and online materials, developing and maintaining the GBS family of websites, publishing content and marketing GBS services.
Her research efforts supported work for several team projects, including two US patents for the GBS cloud-based service “SCDMS;” NIST 800-171 compliance; SCDMS branding; the FedDMS Launch; GBS HUBZone certification; and GDPR-related compliance.
Kathryn worked out of the NYC and Washington DC offices during her time with NYNEX/Bell Atlantic/Verizon Government Affairs and Human Resource Communications. Her work involved executive speech writing, merger communications, creating and editing the HR newspaper to 128,000 employees, and community relations in support of telecom-related public policy - helping to represent Verizon and the Foundation to national African American organizations.
