GBS, working on a professional services contract as a subcontractor to one of the world’s largest telecommunications carriers, was engaged to develop a dark fiber solution to connect remote service delivery points. GBS consultants developed and facilitated an innovative cost sharing agreement and contractual arrangement between two customers that resulted in significant cost savings to both organizations.
Today, nearly ten years after the arrangement was established, the innovative dark fiber solution continues to deliver cost-savings solutions.
