Global Broadband Solutions Now Supplies New Biodefense Device That Detects And Deactivates Harmful Contaminants In Seconds
LEESBURG, VA (April 24, 2023) – Global Broadband Solutions, LLC (GBS) is pleased to supply a revolutionary handheld biodefense technology, developed by SafetySpect Inc, the first handheld, portable Contamination, Sanitization Inspection (CSI) device that detects bio contaminants in real time, documents the biological profile and can render the bacteria or virus harmless in 2-5 seconds with UV-C (all in one device).
With a powerful use case portfolio, SafetySpect can be deployed for any surface where bacterial, viral, or microbial contaminants pose a hazard, from kitchens and government buildings to cockpits, submarine vessels, ships, secure locations, ports and border points, embassies, and more. It can also decontaminate instruments such as sensitive airplane control panels which cannot be disinfected using chemical cleaners.
“For national security and recent pandemic concerns, we see CSI Technology as a vital tool with applications across numerous federal agencies. We are a HUBZone certified company, and GBS is able to directly supply these biodefense tools to our government customers,” said Andy Pitman, GBS Vice President Business Development.
This patented multimode sensing platform with AI data analytics utilizes specialized illumination technology to reduce the likelihood of spreading dangerous and costly illnesses including COVID-19, influenza, norovirus, and diseases caused by E.coli. The exclusive technology not only detects and neutralizes danger; it also documents that contaminants are deactivated by recording time, location, and date stamped in a digital photographic record.
SafetySpect advanced optical sensing technology is the first portable product of its kind in the GBS family of detection services, which also includes Science Monitoring and Reliable Telecommunication (SMART) Cable systems and Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS).
